It was as the Bishop of London called it “a day of hope” and showed that no matter how far away we move from the old ways, there is an essence to this tradition that we recognise and crave. It is the promise to love and be loved and the belief that we can.
In the heart of the Klein Karoo lies one of the best kept gems, Highgate, the oldest and most original Ostrich Show Farm in the world. Highgate’s beautiful Karoo gardens and charming rustic indoor venue provide the most idyllic setting for a romantic wedding or special celebration.
As intimate as you wish for or as much family and friends, your day is carefully planned keeping in mind that your wedding day is the most beautiful stepping stone in beginning your life together. The Volmoed church is only 6 km away from our stunning farm. Accommodation options include the highly acclaimed De Denne Guesthouse offering 21 rooms and the stunning Mooiplaas, offering 32 rooms only 1 km away from the farm.
